What the program is about!
Underwood-Memorial Hospital will make available to nursing students funds in an amount not to exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) providing the following criteria are met:
- Enrollment in a nursing education program that meets the approval of UMH. Student must maintain a accumulative GPA of 3.3 or above and mantain a 3.0 GPA or better in all nursing courses.
- Funds provided by UMH may be applied only to tuition fees.
- At the request of UMH, student will submit copies of tuition bills, receipts or other designated items.
Application Requirements
- Complete the Nursing Scholarship and Tuition Reimbursement Program Application.
- Submit a 250-word essay describing how the scholarship will contribute to your efforts to enter the nursing profession.
- Attach copies of the nursing program’s most recent transcript.
- Letters of recommendation (optional).
- You must be currently enrolled, in good standing, in a nursing education program acceptable to UMH.
- You must have successfully completed your Nursing I courses.
