The Tree of Life Program is a large, magnificent cast bronze and brass sculpture mounted and predominantly displayed on the wall adjacent to the hospital lobby.
More than that, as a special donor acknowledgement exhibit, it represents the caring, thoughtfulness and generosity of many who have chosen to contribute to the life-work of Underwood-Memorial Hospital.
A closer examination of our Tree of Life Program will reflect that it is comprised of a number of leaves, apples and stones which constitute the “platforms” for the recognition of gifts to this on-going donor recognition program.
By their giving of a specified amount, donors (or groups of donors) may elect an appropriate tribute or memorial, which is then mounted and permanently displayed as an integral part of this Tree of Life sculpture.
Gifts to the Tree of Life Program are made through the Underwood-Memorial Hospital Foundation and generally are applied in support of the hospital Foundation’s “Greatest Need Fund.”
The Underwood-Memorial Hospital Foundation staff will assist and counsel donors to help determine an appropriate inscription and placement for the leaf, apple or stone on the Tree of Life.
- Leaves - $500 and up
- Apples - $2,500 and up
