One-Day Childbirth Preparation Class

This class is ideal for expectant parents who cannot commit to a full 4-week childbirth education series. The content of the class is similar: health maintenance, the labor and delivery process, fetal monitoring, anesthesia, cesarean birth and family adjustment. Breathing techniques are also included. Classes are taught by registered nurses who are Childbirth Educators. Please sign up prior to the 6th month of pregnancy to secure a space in the class. The best time to attend the class is during the 7th or 8th month of pregnancy.

BECAUSE OF THE LARGE AMOUNT OF INFORMATION GIVEN DURING THIS ONE DAY CLASS, YOU WILL BE SENT A MANUAL TO READ BEFORE ATTENDING. Please bring this manual with you to class, along with two (2) pillows.
