Healthcare Lifeline
Available by subscription, Healthcare Lifeline is an in-home personal response system for the allowing those who might be recovering from hospitalization, the frail and elderly living alone to get help immediately at the push of a button. This service provides 24-hour, 7 days per week, 365 days per year of personal emergency response service for over 250 subscribers living in the community. While the Lifeline program is a paid service (most subscribers pay a monthly fee of $35.00), discounted and free installation is available through Underwood for eligible persons. Underwood-Memorial Hospital staff conducts presentations throughout the county explaining the benefits of Lifeline to prospective subscribers and/or their caregivers.
