Heart Health and Wellness Expo

The goals of this annual educational outreach event are to increase awareness of the importance of heart health, to encourage cardiovascular wellness, to discover hypertension, hyperglycemia and hypercholesterolemia and to counsel participants in appropriate action to protect and maintain their health.  Free screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, body mass index and blood sugar are performed.  Physician lectures, educational information and exhibits bring the importance and value of improved cardiovascular health closer to the community we serve.
