PASTORAL CARE

Underwood-Memorial Hospital believes that total patient care should include and offer attention to the spiritual as well as the physical and emotional needs of each patient. Therefore we recognize and respect the rights of patients regarding access to pastoral care and spiritual services.

If you wish visitation by clergy, you, a friend or member of your family should contact your pastor, rabbi or minister. Certainly, we will help you to contact the clergy at your request. Please ask your nurse for assistance.

A hospital chapel is located on the first floor near the elevators. Visitors and patients are welcome to use the chapel for prayer or quiet meditation.
