Our Access Center is designed to provide clinical assessment to those individuals with an urgent level of need in order to determine the appropriate psychiatric treatment. The Access Center differs from the Emergency Department (ED) and Psychiatric Emergency Screening Service (PESS) in that the ED and PESS serve individuals in need of immediate or emergent psychiatric/medical interventions.

Individuals with a primary psychiatric condition will receive an appointment with a licensed clinician who will assess the individual for his or her behavioral health needs and make a referral to the appropriate community resource or support program.

Treatment and care referral options are offered to include:

• Individual Therapy
• Medication Management Therapy
• Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
• Partial Hospital Program (PHP)
• Childrens Behavioral Health Program
• Psychosocial Partial Care
• Inpatient Treatment

Hours of Operation

The Access Center will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Messages can be left on a confidential voice mail during evening hours and will be returned promptly on the following business day.

Insurance

The Access Center is an in-network provider for most major commercial payers. Benefits will be verified and pre-certified if treatment is found to be necessary.
